The DStv Explora 2 is designed to be used with an enabled MultiChoice Smartcard, a compatible DStv Remote, and the latest software. The total recording space may vary depending on the mix of SD and HD recordings.Â
To format the DStv Explora 2, users can:
- Press the blue DStv logo button on the remote to open the menu
- Use the arrow keys to navigate to Settings
- Select System Settings
- Select Reset Decoder Settings
- Select All the research to factory default
- Format the hard driveÂ
