Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?
We accept full payment before processing any order. Accepted payment methods include:
- Bank Transfer
- Online Card Payment via our Website
Note: No cash on delivery. No part payment. No reservation without payment.
How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?
our data and payments are fully protected. Our website uses secure payment gateways and encrypted systems to ensure:

Ordering Process
What exactly happens after ordering?
Once you place an order on our website, the following process begins:
- Step 1 – Order Received: Immediately after checkout and you upload your payment receipt, we receive your order and you are sent an Order Confirmation Email.
- Step 2 – Payment Verification: Our website team verifies your payment. Once confirmed, you will receive an email stating: "Your order is now being processed."
- Step 3 – Warehouse Processing & Quality Check: Our warehouse team begins physical processing, which includes bringing your item from stock, testing for functionality, and confirming the condition.
- Step 4 – Order Completion Notice: Once processing is complete, you will receive an email stating: "Your order is now ready for pickup or delivery." This is the only clearance that allows pickup or delivery scheduling.
- Step 5 – Pickup or Delivery: You will either come for pickup (after clearance) or be contacted to schedule your delivery.

Do I receive an invoice for my order?
Yes. A digital invoice/receipt is sent to your email after payment confirmation. You will also be given a printed invoice during pickup or delivery.
Inspection and Refund Policy
Do you allow inspection before payment or strictly after payment?
Strictly after payment. Declutter Dot NG operates as a stockpile liquidation warehouse, not an open showroom.
All items are brought out only after full payment is made.
Customers are allowed to inspect only the item they have paid for.
If any undisclosed defect is found, an instant refund is issued. No arguments, no begging, no negotiations.
What is the Refund Rule after inspection?
If the item has an undisclosed defect (apart from standard wear and tear of used items) → 100% refund.
If the item is fine and the customer changes their mind → 30% administrative deduction applies.
If the item is abandoned after payment → Storage fees apply.
Delivery and Pickup
What are the delivery charges for orders from the Online Shop?
Delivery fees are calculated based on your location, item size, weight, and number of items.
Delivery is handled by our logistics team or partners (e.g., Dellyman & Darum for bike deliveries).
The exact fee will be communicated to you after checkout before dispatch.
Note: Large items (fridges, sofas, beds, etc.) and bulk orders attract higher delivery fees.

How long will delivery take?
After payment confirmation:
Lagos deliveries: 1 – 5 working days.
- Outside Lagos: 3 – 7 working days.
- Bulk / Large items: Delivery time will be scheduled separately. You will be contacted before dispatch. Orders are processed strictly in the order they are received.
What are the Pickup Time & Deadlines?
- Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:50 pm only.
- Deadline: You must pick up your order within 72 hours after receiving your pickup clearance email.
Note: We do not load pickup items for customers or drivers.
What are the Storage & Abandonment Charges?
Orders not picked up within 72 hours attract a ₦20,000 weekly storage fee.
Orders abandoned for more than a week may be resold.
- Refunds for abandoned orders attract a 30% administrative deduction plus accumulated storage fees.
