Our inspection fees are based on the size and number of levels of the property to be inspected.
The standard inspection fee covers one property with one floor/level only.
Multi-storey buildings, hotels, hostels, offices, stores and warehouses with multiple floors may attract additional inspection charges.
Customers must accurately indicate the number of floors and the size of the property when booking. Where the property is larger than initially declared, additional charges may apply before the inspection proceeds.
Inspection fees cover the agreed inspection scope and do not automatically cover additional properties or separate buildings within the same premises.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1 – Book Inspection
Book an Asset Liquidation Inspection for our team to visit your location.
Step 2 – Inspection, Evaluation & Review
We inspect, document, photograph, review asset condition, discuss items buy out prices ,payout expectations, timeline, access, and liquidation feasibility.
Step 3 – Approval & Mandate
After inspection the liquidation team will reach out back to you within 48hrs with our price review if a price declaration was given while inspecting your asset and if not , you will be send a price declaration template on whatsapp within 24hrs to declare your prices and if approved, We then suggest the best liquidation process that fit your asset either by buy-out or by managing the sales of the asset right from your location and approve Declutter Dot NG as the sole liquidation manager for the agreed period.
Step 4 – Liquidation Management(selling from your location)
We handle:
- content creation
- marketing
- buyer management
- negotiations
- payment collection
- pickup coordination
Buy -Out( buying outrightly from you)
Seller handle:
- logistics
- dismantling
- movers
- loading
- transportation
- manpower
- uninstalling
Step 5 – Seller Payout
You receive your agreed fixed payout for sold items / buy out offer.
FIXED PAYOUT MODEL
This is not profit sharing.
You agree your payout amount.
Declutter Dot NG controls resale pricing, negotiation strategy, and margins.
Any amount above your agreed payout belongs to Declutter Dot NG.
FEES
Inspection Fee
Covers:
- site visit
- consultation
- photography
- video documentation
- asset review
- travel
- operational time
Inspection fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Inspection fees are non-refundable.
- Rescheduling after confirmation attracts 50% charge.
- Same-day cancellation forfeits full fee.
- No-show forfeits full fee.
- Denied access forfeits full fee.
- Fresh booking requires fresh payment.
WAITING TIME
Maximum waiting time: 10 minutes.
Delay beyond this attracts:
₦10,000 per extra 10 minutes
Inspection may be cancelled and marked as used.
LIQUIDATION PERIOD
Standard liquidation period: 14 days
If items remain unsold:
- extension
- price review
- revised strategy
- optional buyout (DeclutterdotNG’s choice only)
Declutter Dot NG is not obligated to buy unsold Items.
IMPORTANT SELLER OBLIGATIONS
Seller must:
- provide realistic pricing
- disclose all defects
- provide full access
- secure estate/building approvals
- maintain listed items in same condition
- cooperate throughout the process
STRICT PROHIBITIONS
Seller must NOT:
- sell listed items elsewhere
- bypass Declutter Dot NG buyers
- collect direct buyer payments
- change agreed payout after activation
- remove listed items without approval
- block pickup after buyer indicating item is sold / paid for
- hide defects
- misrepresent ownership
BREACH PENALTIES
Seller breach attracts fixed penalties and recovery of all losses, including:
- 25% of agreed payout OR ₦250,000 (whichever is higher) for bypass/direct sales
- ₦150,000 breach fee for unauthorized withdrawal/removal
- ₦100,000 breach fee for hidden defects/access disruption
Additional operational losses remain recoverable.
PAYMENT RULES
- All buyer payments go directly to Declutter Dot NG( even if its a family member buying).
- Seller cannot collect payments directly.
- Seller payout happens only after item has been picked by buyer and access is fully cleared and verified.
LOGISTICS RULES
If seller accepts our buy-out offer, logistics & evacuation shall be managed by seller.
You will be responsible for the logistics and evacuation of the asset movement to our warehouse.
Asset buy-out value is separate from logistics and evacuation charges
Clearance timelines are confirmed only after logistics and evacuation fee is being agreed and confirmed.
All man power must be fully present at the location before evacuation begins.
PICKUP RULES
Seller’s are responsible for:
- dismantling
- movers
- loading
- transportation
- logistics
- manpower
- uninstalling
Unless separately & willingly arranged by Buyer's.
Seller must provide access for pickup and make sure estate is cleared.
NO GUARANTEE
Declutter Dot NG provides professional liquidation management.
We do not guarantee:
- full liquidation
- exact sale timeline
- guaranteed buyer demand
Sales depends on Market demand , pricing, period of usage, Item condition, Audience demand, actual purchase price, resale value and cooperation.
LEGAL
Declutter Dot NG may terminate engagement immediately for breach.
These terms are governed by Nigerian law.
Disputes fall under Lagos jurisdiction.
FINAL AGREEMENT
By booking this service, you confirm that you:
- have read these terms
- understand them
- accept them
- agree that no verbal conversation overrides these terms.
